Reiki Level I Training


Learn to provide comfort, relaxation, and stress reduction to yourself and others through Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho, the Japanese healing art of using hands-on touch and meditation to facilitate universal life force energy flow. This course provides you with the history of Reiki, how to give a Reiki treatment to yourself and others, an attunement that enables you to channel Reiki energy and Certification as a Reiki I Practitioner. The course will take place three consecutive Sunday mornings at the Rock Garden. Students must attend all classes.

If you plan on taking this course, I’d like to suggest that you first schedule a reiki session with me as it is important that you feel comfortable with the person that you will train with. I offer a thirty minute session for $20.00 or an hour session for $35.00. If you choose not to, that’s okay, too….it’s just a suggestion.

Spontaneous Poetry Reading & Book Signing for Evidence of Flossing with Author/Naturalist Jen Payne
Celebrate Earth Day at Rock Garden in Branford, Sunday, April 22, 12:30 - 3:30pm

On Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, Rock Garden in Branford will host author and naturalist Jen Payne for a spontaneous poetry reading and book signing featuring her book 
Evidence of Flossing: What We Leave Behind. From 12:30 to 3:30pm, the author will sign books and read poems upon request from this curious collection of poetry that Rita Kowats of Spirituality Without Borders called “Truth and beauty delivered in wide-eyes wonder by a heart passionately in love with nature.” The event is free and open to the public.
