The Rock Garden was established in 1986 by the late Marilyn "Maddie" Brand on State Street in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1998 we moved to our current location in Branford, Connecticut. Originally the store was a rock shop offering rocks, minerals, crystals & fossils to collectors. A Short while later more & more people began asking for specific crystals for energetic healing & jewelry and it was at that point we became a metaphysical shop. People in the neighborhood began asking for beads, and in 1989 we added gemstone beads and antique trade beads to the mix. Since moving to our Branford location in 1998 the shop has expanded our offering of crystals and minerals jewelry, tarot decks & gifts. We do jewelry repairs like pearl knotting, necklace & bracelet re-stringing.
